Client:- UK Manufacturer of Avionics Systems ( Crystal Cabin Award Winner)-STG Aerospace
Project:- Wireless Emergency Primary Power System on the BAe/ AVRO 146

stg-aerospace-csIn 2008 STG Aerospace was awarded the Crystal Cabin trophy ( Greener Cabin, Health & Safety) for the Wireless Emergency Primary Power System (WEPPS) at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg. SWS Certification Services Ltd, as the holder of the design organization approval (DOA), were involved in the WEPPS certification and went on to obtain an EASA STC for the WEPPS on the BAe/AVRO 146.

WEPPS delivers ‘fit for life’ performance and reliability – critical benefits in the current economic climate. The system manages and powers emergency lighting systems, with a built-in wireless monitoring and diagnostic capability yet is a ‘fit for life’ solution that needs no scheduled maintenance – ever. Airlines in the US, Europe and Far East have all placed orders, with others expected from national and international carriers.

Flourishing sales figures and an impressive third Queen’s Award for Enterprise are testament to STG Aerospace’s commitment to developing innovative and cost-saving products which, most importantly, improve aircraft safety. The company’s mantra is simple – safety doesn’t have to be expensive.”
