SWS Certification Services Ltd provide design support (mechanical, engineering or electrical) to clients undertaking modification, minor change or repair programmes.
However in order to strengthen the services that we offer, SWS have teamed up with DCA Design International – one of Europe’s leading design consultancies. This collaboration, which we believe is unique to the industry, allows us to provide an extensive and integrated design and certification service to our clients:- one which is capable of designing a complete aircraft or rotorcraft reconfiguration.

In SWS’ experience, it is not unusual for new aircraft interior design concepts to be well advanced and approved by senior management at the Initial Technical Coordination Meeting (ITCM) without any input from certification, airworthiness and regulatory specialists. This often leads to problems during the development phase, when previously approved concepts have to be compromised to meet certification needs.
Working together, SWS and DCA can tackle this issue head on by developing exciting new aircraft design concepts and the necessary certification strategy in parallel. This integrated approach increases the probability of delivering the original design vision in a flight-worthy, certifiable form. It also minimises programme risk, reducing total project costs and timescales.
