SWS Certification Services Ltd exhibit for first time @ Helitech 2009
SWS Certification Services Ltd were amongst more than 45 companies making their debut at Helitech 2009, which this year took place from 22-24 September at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, near Cambridge.

Over 4000 unique visitors attended the show over three days, to see more than 200 exhibiting companies. (this represented an 11% increase on 2007’s visitor numbers.)
SWS shared a stand with Sloane Aviation, a division of Sloane Helicopters. Sloane Helicopters , an approved helicopter maintenance organisation who have been involved for many years in the support of Agusta, Bell and Robinson helicopters have had a collaboration with SWS Certification Services Ltd for the past 2 years as their preferred DOA, supporting them on a number of retro- fit installations.
SWS’ decision to attend Helitech was based on both the show’s popularity as well as its ability to attract companies of all sizes from across military and civil helicopter supply chains – making it a significant global showcase for products, systems and support services. Helitech’s international spread, also meant that it attracted visitors from the USA, Canada, Sweden and as far afield as New Zealand.
The buoyancy of the rotary wing sector was confirmed by significant contracts being announced during the event. For SWS, their MD Nigel Smith, described Helitech as “an excellent platform to promote the services of our company. We are now speaking to new clients within the Rotorcraft market as a result of the show and are not only delighted with the interest we received at our stand but we are also very encouraged with the potential for extra business.”
